Part of UVPC’s mission is learning. We focus on helping members of all skill levels to become more knowledgeable and proficient in their photography. For example, UVPC members benefit from our instructional programs offered twice monthly, drawing from our own talented photographers, or from outside speakers. For newer photographers, the monthly “Beginner’s Corner” is a special program on photographic basics with open Q&A time. Our newly developed mentor program provides a list of member’s who are willing to share their expertise in a small group or one on one basis. Finally, we offer hands-on group practice opportunities, mini outings, and yearly trips that give members a chance to practice their skills, learn by doing, and share experiences with other club members.
